Carrie Anczarki - appointed Garfield Park Academy DirectorGarfield Park Academy is proud to welcome Kerrie Anczarki to the leadership team at the school as Director.
 
Anczarki comes to Garfield Park Academy with more than fifteen years of experience in the field of education, leadership and non-profits. She began her career as a teacher in the New York City public school system and has worked as an educator in both public and private non-profit schools in New Jersey.  Most recently, Anczarki served as Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction for another state-approved special education school.  
 
She earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from the University of Delaware, and holds a master’s degree in Elementary Education from Fordham University. She earned both her Special Education certificate in students with disabilities and her Supervisor of Education certificate from Kean University.  
 
“We are thrilled to welcome Kerrie to Garfield Park Academy,” said Dr. Steven Morse, Superintendent. “She brings a passion for serving our students, and has a track record of enhancing and developing new programs while raising academic performance through positive teaching strategies.” 
 
Raised in Cherry Hill, Anczarki has dedicated her time to helping non-profit organizations with fundraising and program development.  She has a passion for running and has completed three marathons. She has been a certified yoga instructor for the past 12 years, working with children and adults with special needs.
