His work establishing and directing GPA’s vocational Automotive Program reached hundreds of teens and young adults, providing them with the self-esteem, emotional and academic growth, and skills they needed for success in work and life.
In recognition of his work and significant contributions, last year GPA dedicated its Automotive Program to Mr. Pat, and renamed the program and facility “The Galeone Automotive Training Center.” The program is the only automotive program of a state-approved private school for students with disabilities in New Jersey to be accredited by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF), and The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).
