The Garfield Park Academy Chemistry/Bio Science Lab has undergone a major makeover. Our lab’s been completely refitted with new flooring, lab furniture, teacher tables, lab benches, seating, lab/safety equipment, and storage. The upgrade will make it possible for students and teachers to conduct a much wider range of chemical and biological experiments and demonstrations, while ensuring that they can be carried out under the safest of working conditions.
The new lab includes the following:
- 4 Foot Mobile Teacher Table
- 2 Movable S+B Lab Workstations
- Two Corian sinks
- 2 Chicago Hot/Cold mixer taps
- Mobiline Portable Fume Hood with 360 degree viewing, a drip sink, cold water faucet and electric services, and built-in filter system
- 6 Lecture tables with Trespa Solid Grade Laminate work surface with steel reinforced structure
- 4 Double Sided Pedestal Boxes
- Eyewash/Drench Safety Shower
- 4-gallon Flammable Cabinet
- 4-gallon Acid/Corrosive Cabinet
- Eyewear Germicidal Cabinet
- Perimeter benching and storage
- 2 Double Tall Storage Cabinets
